Parkview athlete Quentin Murphy (6-1, 205) became the eighth 2025 prospect to commit to the Arkansas Razorbacks football team on Saturday.
Murphy, a three-star prospect who was previously committed to Ole Miss, will play his senior season at Parkview after being at Joe T. Robinson the previous two. In 23 games with the Senators, Murphy passed for 2,280 yards and 32 touchdowns to 12 interceptions and added 1,278 yards with 14 scores on the ground.
The decision came down to the Hogs, Georgia Tech and Syracuse, but Murphy also owns offers from top programs including Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Oregon. It ultimately came down to the Razorback staff’s consistency.
“The difference was the communication with the coaches,” Murphy said during an interview on Natural State Sports’ Arkansas Preps Weekly podcast. “They have stayed on my tail, checking on me every day and seeing how I am doing.”
On the episode, Murphy also discusses playing with a star-studded cast of fellow Patriots – four of which own an offer from the Razorbacks – along with additional input from his recruiting process. Parkview Coach Brad Bolding also joins to talk about the addition of Murphy to his squad.
