Woodlawn senior Tate Hall has been named the TeamFunded Baseball Player of the Week after helping the Bears to five wins. The Class 2A second-ranked Bears have won six consecutive overall going into this week and are 11-2.
In those five victories, the ASU – Mountain Home signee batted .437 with 14 runs batted in, plus pitched five innings while surrendering only two hits and struck out seven batters. In the opening week game against Glen Rose, Hall finished 2-4 with a triple and run scored, plus threw four scoreless innings and struck out six batters. He also earned the save in Saturday’s 6-2 triumph over Camden Fairview.
Hall also thrives in the classroom, maintaining a 4.03 GPA.
