Some quick thoughts…6A is loaded with top end talent. Match-up of the week is #2 Cabot and #3 Bentonville as they square off today at Univ. of Ozarks. 19 college signees between the two teams. Cabot is led by Arkansas signee OF Clayton Gray and Kentucky signee OF Houston King. Bentonville is deep on the mound and led by Kansas commit SS Payton Allen and Central Missouri signee C Sam Golden….5A South is like the SEC West with 7 Arkansas signees/commits and Arkansas High RHP Cody Adcock going to Ole Miss. A good team from this conference will not make post season….4A is top heavy with Nashville looking for a FOUR PEAT!! Shiloh Christian and Valley View return most of their starters from 2019. Robinson may have the deepest lineup led by Arkansas signee SS Zac White, Kentucky signee 1B Luke Pectol and BYU signee 3B Gavin Glasgow….Northeast Arkansas may determine who wins the 3A title with Gosnell and Walnut Ridge having a plethora of top end arms. Gosnell has transfer Arkansas State commit RHP Cooper Pieri and Walnut Ridge has two sport stud RHP Cole Manning….2A will be tough this year as questions abound for many teams. The South Region will be tough with 2019 champ Junction City, 2018 champ Parkers Chapel and Woodlawn knows their way to Baum as well….1A has a lot of familiar faces with Armorel, Taylor and Viola looking to build on their deep baseball traditions.

Best of luck to all teams this season. Natural State Sports will be covering some big time games starting with the Benton Panther Invitational and the PBR Arkansas Select Tournament this week. Make sure and follow me on twitter at @CoachKBo21 for the latest updates in Prep Baseball.
