It would be an understatement to say that Sam Pittman and the Arkansas staff have been on a nice run lately.  Pittman is surely living up to the reputation he has about his recruiting abilities.  The Razorback Class of 2021 is continuing to become something to look forward to.

The Razorbacks welcome their 12th commitment for the Class of 2021, Devon Manuel 6-8 300-pound Offensive Lineman from the state of Louisiana.

Manuel is the Hog’s sixth addition on the offensive line since Pittman took over the program. Believe it or not, Manuel is Arkansas’ first commitment from Louisiana in this year’s class, but expect to see more.

The Arkansas football program and the Razorback fans welcome Devon Manuel, offensive lineman from Arnaudville, LA (Beau Chene).  Manuel made an unofficial visit to the Hill for Arkansas’ junior day on March 7.  He has been recruited to Fayetteville by offensive line coach Brad Davis, who extended an offer shortly after Manuel’s visit.  The 6-8, 300-pound lineman chose Arkansas over Houston, Kansas, Iowa State, Michigan State, UCF, Indiana, Nebraska, Kentucky, LSU, and Lafayette.  There is no doubt that Manuel will fit the Pittman offensive line stature and bring a presence that is much needed on the Hog O-line.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Manuel is a three-star target who is listed as the No. 105 offensive tackle in the nation and No. 34 player in Louisiana.  Arkansas currently has a pair of offensive line commits for the Class of 2021.  Manuel will join Terry Wells of Wynne (AR) and Cole Carson of Bogata (TX) Rivercrest.  Arkansas is expected to sign at least four offensive lineman for this class.
