Big Miller Football Media Days kick off in Little Rock this week

LITTLE ROCK – The inaugural Big Miller Football Media Days kick off on Wednesday morning at First Community Bank and will conclude Friday afternoon.

Over 60 teams from most regions of Arkansas will meet in the heart of the state to discuss the 2024 season that is just around the corner. All three days will be live streamed on The Natural State Sports Network’s YouTube Channel, Facebook page and Twitter (X). All interviews will be available to watch by the end of each day if you miss the live viewing.

The event gets started with a bang Wednesday as 103.7 The Buzz’s Wess Moore and Joe Franklin will be live on location for ‘Out of Bounds’ from 1-4 p.m.

Who is ‘Big Miller’?

Kevin Miller, widely known as ‘Big Miller’, was a staple in promoting Arkansas’ prep athletes in both football and basketball. When Kev was not working or spending time with his wife and two children, he was often seen at a court or field collecting film to make highlight reels.

One of Kev’s goals to help continue growing Arkansas prep athletics was to put a media day event together and that came to fruition last October. He was the driving force in planning what turned out to be a highly successful two-day event for basketball, which prompted the idea to do the same thing for football.

Sadly, Kev suddenly passed away in February at the age of 43. Shortly after his passing, some of his friends and colleagues got together and quickly came to the agreement that there are few better ways to honor all that he did for others than combining his name with what he loved doing most.
