Lady Wildcats riding a six-match winning streak.

“It was a very competitive match. It was back and forth all night. The defense on both sides of the net made rallies longer and really forced us to be aggressive and go out and win points. Lady Mustangs looked like a different team in the gold bracket at the Sheridan Invitational where they did not drop a set.

“I think we found it and are hitting the turning point. From here on out, we’re going to be a different team than we have been this season. We’re not going to slow down from here. I think our girls don’t like playing early and we got off to a slow start and we had to figure everything out between pool play and bracket play. This felt good, we know we were the team to beat for them (Haskell Harmony Grove). They said that earlier this summer. We kept that in the back of our heads. That was a good win for us.” — Central Arkansas Christian head coach Lynn Brown on the victory over Haskell Harmony Grove

I think we played well and our defense picked up some balls we don’t pick up. Playing Taylor, White Hall and CAC was good for us and CAC will be in our regional.” — Haskell Harmony Grove head coach Bailey Korte on the Sheridan Invitational.
